Jun Takehara
Jun lives alone in a trailer deep in the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania — the story summary calls her connection to Felton, an old veteran and friend of her recently deceased father, her only real one. That quiet breaks the day she finds the wounded girl in the woods. Felton
Felton fought in a war before the story and promised Jun's father he would look out for her.
